FIELD TRIPS

Apple Ridge Farms offers a fun and educational self-guided field trip experience designed for students to explore, discover, and enjoy the outdoors. Each child participant receives a wristband granting access to our exciting maze, a small bag of gem mining rough to sift and search through, and an informational pamphlet to help identify their gem finds. This hands-on adventure encourages curiosity and learning in a natural, farm-based setting that’s perfect for school groups, homeschool families, and youth organizations.

In addition to the maze and gem mining, students will enjoy access to our scenic nature trail, where they can explore the sights, sounds, and textures of the farm’s landscape. While pumpkins are available for individual purchase during the visit, they are not included in the field trip package. The base cost for the field trip is just $9 per child, with the option to sweeten the experience by adding one of our popular apple cider donuts for only $1.50. It’s an affordable and memorable way to bring the classroom outdoors for a day of active learning and seasonal fun.

Apple Ridge Farms welcomes teachers, chaperones, and siblings to join in the experience — and best of all, there is no cost for adults or non-participating guests. Siblings who would like to take part in the full field trip experience are welcome to add on as participants for the same fee. With so much to see and do, our self-guided field trips offer a flexible and enriching opportunity for groups of all sizes to learn, play, and explore the magic of the farm.
